The estate was built in the Art Noveau style and is located in a striking location - on a vineyard sloping down to the banks of the Rhine River.
In 1900 the villa's design won a prestigious award in an architectural contest at the world exhibition in Paris. After acquiring the construction plans, the Art Noveau jewel with its round arches and bay windows was built with quarry and sand stones.
In 1978 Sieglinde and Richard Nägler acquired the charming estate and renovated it with loving attention to detail. Since then it has been the primary residence of the Nägler family, and along with its striking gardens it offers an impressive location for a multitude of activities revolving around wine.
From the terrace one can enjoy a wonderful view of the Rhine River, letting body and mind relax while drinking exquisite wine. The stylish vinotheque and champagne cellar, located under the terrace, provide an ambiance in which wine buying is a pleasant experience.
